Aircraft charter platform

Intro

Jet Partner is a private airline chartering service with access to a worldwide fleet of aircrafts available for charter.
They wanted to develop a website a platform for their clients to book private flights, whether they are chartering a jet for business or leisure.

Overthrow Digital hired me as lead UX/UI designer for this project. My role inlcuded wireframing, prototyping and UI design.

Challenge

In Jet Partner, admins worked off multiple websites, platforms, emails, phone calls and spreadsheets to manage all the bookings for their clients.

We needed to build a full booking engine that integrated with third party suppliers and an admin panel with different access levels for managing the bookings and available flights seamlessly.

Solution

After an extensive discovery phase, we learned a great deal about the private aviation industry; the main players, the existing technologies and how they all fitted together.

Armed with this information and understanding, we created a system that allowed for automatic and manual onboarding of real-time third party flight data. Users could book flights themselves or use the concierge service to do it for them.

We also created an easy to use admin system to give Jet Partner flexibility, efficiency and ease of use.

Results

The platform was initially soft-launched to a select set of existing customers and was very well received.

After refining and improving the system based on customer and admin feedback, they publicly launched the service and got many new user sign-ups and flight bookings made on the system in a very short period.
